9 to 12 Bowling League
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, its two GLBT
leagues meet once a month on either the first Saturday or third Saturday
of the month at River/Rand Bowl, 191 S River Rd, Des Plaines. The league
is open to all adults regardless of bowling ability. The "classic"
league on the third Saturday of the month is traditional ten pin bowling
while the "no tap" league on the first Saturday of the month offers a
strike even if you only knock down 9 pins on the first ball! During the
season, people are encouraged to come out and watch or even be a
substitute bowler for those who are absent. During the summer, we are
always looking to add new individual bowlers, couples and occasional
teams of four for the upcoming fall season. For league details download "9to12_2008.doc". E-mail the league secretary,
Rob, with any questions.
